University Level Instructor and Private Elementary School Instructor Positions
Our client provides English language instruction programs for international companies, universities, and private elementary/primary schools in the Kanto region of Japan. This is a great opportunity for instructors with experience to gain overseas experience while being immersed in the culture, language, and the people of Japan. We are looking for full time instructors who can work a minimum of three months beginning in the Fall. The details are as follows:
Location
Kanto region of Japan (In and around Tokyo)
Salary
University Level Instructors: 285,000 yen – 300,000 yen per month
Private Elementary School Instructors: 285,000 yen per month
Contract
Contract length ranges between 3 to 6 months
Start Date: September/October
Basic Qualfications
1.Native English speaker
2.University degree
3.In good health
4.No criminal record
5.Genuinely interested in teaching
6.Genuinely interested in living and working abroad
Specific Qualifications
University Level Instructor:
1.Master’s Degree
2.Minimum 2 years of ESL/EFL teaching experience at a university/college
*Candidates without a Master’s Degree will be considered depending on experience
Private Elementary School Instructor:
1.BA/BSC with TESL/TEFL certification and/or primary/elementary teaching certification
2.Over 1000 hours of ESL/EFL teaching experience
Basic Job Description:
a)Teaching conversational English in an engaging manner which will motivate students.
b)Administering and marking quizzes and exams.
c)Giving out homework, and marking and grading the work.
d)Student Assessments.
Benefits:
a)Full Working Visa sponsorship
b)Fully furnished single apartment for 81,000 Yen per month (including utilities and maintenance fees).
c)Japanese National Health Insurance (If you had no income in Japan the previous year, your premium will be approx. 3,000 Yen per month)
d)Flight reimbursement – Up to $1000.00 USD for teachers coming from overseas.
