We're a well funded startup that's looking for a Sr. Software Engineering Manager to join our technology team.Our founders are well known leaders in advanced networking research from Caltech.
You'll be leading a team of about 10 software engineers (and growing) in the design and development of acceleration technology for a variety of network protocols.We expect the manager to have strong input at the design stage of the product and have a passion for creating innovative solutions.
Here's what we're looking for:
* Master's in computer science or engineering
* At least 12 years software engineering experience
* At least 5 years experience leading software engineers in the development of new products (design through implementation)
* Experience with software development technologies (Agile or RUP)
* Product development experience with:C, C++, Kernel programming, Linux or BSD derivatives
* Thorough understanding of TCP/IP
* Thrives in a startup environment
