We are currently looking for an Account Manager in our Pasadena Office to service our LA Unified School District Clients. Must have account management or client relationship experience along with ability to collect, organize and distibute client documentation. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop an intimate understanding of clients district culture by employing a wide variety of research methods, including, but not limited to, analyzing in-house data and conducting on-site interviews. Review existing client documentation, conduct interviews to gather mandated information and to determine key issues, and identify current problems the client is facing. Establish and maintain client relationships with school district personnel, ranging from superintendents to site secretaries. Document existing school site policy and procedure in regards to compliance with Federal and State programs. Analyze and process existing client documentation, conduct interviews to determine key issues, and identify current problems the district is facing. Negotiate and renew contracts with districts that reflect a wide variety of products and service. Advise and assist clients in developing and/or presenting board presentations to key decision-making personnel on SI & A products and services that would best fit district needs. Document existing district policy and procedures in areas such as:curriculum instruction, special education instruction, collective bargaining and compliance with Federal and State programs Present an executive summary based on documentation received from clients throughout the school year and offer recommendations to improve compliance and revenue of client data. Qualifications: Bachelors degree OR equivalent from an accredited university OR equivalent work experience. Previous professional background in consulting, account management and maintenance or sales. Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills. Polished and professional speaking and presenting skills for a wide variety of audiences. Willingness to adapt to changes necessary for a high-growth leading-edge company and ability to follow-through on tasks. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under pressures of deadlines and budgets. Ability to manage and maintain accounts to include contract negotiation and contract renewals. Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative team member within company departments. Willingness to travel frequently and overnight with own transportation to various parts of southern California. All travel expenses are reimbursed including mileage rate of .505 cents per mile.
