With that said… I will apologize in advance for this ridiculously long posting - but I assure you, it will be worth it for the person that gets this room - which is available now and I would like to fill NOW (1 person only, and sorry to say, no pets… Charlie is already in the house… can I get a shout out please? – see attached picture).
Great opportunity for the right person… to live in a large bedroom with hardwoods and pretty great light until about 6:30pm… in a charming building/location without too much of a commitment…other than honesty and communication.I’m a great person and looking for the same in a roommate (prefer a female or geeky/dorky guy… haha) for a short-term situation (3-6 months - BUT hopefully longer).

I would prefer a female roommate (or nice dorky guy) because I grew up with 4 wonderful sisters (yes 4, who beat me into submission until I “got it” - seriously) and was raised by 5 incredible women.So I’m very comfortable living with women and know how to respect them, as well as all people (and I have concerns about dealing with the usual mess and ruckus of a guy right now because of work – not all guys).I’m a clean, fun, cool, creative, laid back (but hard-working) guy with high morals and values, and I do have a girlfriend (so I’m truly not looking for any “funny business”).I’m not opposed to a male roommate, but I’m not interest in a guy that wants to meet chicks or guys and just bed them - not my thing, nor do I want to deal with that at home (and I’m not judging, cause that’s pretty much well all of my male and female friends too ).So you’d have to be one hell of good dude that has their stuff together, or maybe… for example... I work in the entertainment industry on the producing and writing side of Television and Film (working for a Network and on an NBC pilot at the moment).Also, I know a lot of people and what it takes to survive this town, so I'd be happy to help anyway I can if you’re just getting into town or having trouble getting a leg up (I’m very generous and like to help others). We would be sharing a very clean bathroom and kitchen (but like I said, I grew up with 4 sisters, so doing it with one other person will be a piece of cake).
I do have a dog.The most loveable Lab you have ever seen.You will want to eat him up.However, he WILL NOT have access to your room or even the hallway that leads to your room or the bathroom.He's totally house broken and not your responsibility in any way.
And in the interest of honesty, even though I know you will want the place as soon as you see it -
I am renting out the bedroom (which was my office) in my LARGE 1br/1bath apt.The living room is set up like a studio for me.The good news (and the reason this works out well) is because there is a door that separates my space from a hall that leads to your bedroom door and the door to the bathroom (giving plenty of privacy).And I have a floor to ceiling divider, so you can get from your room to the kitchen, or the entrance/exit without having to see my space if need be (it’s retractable, if we want to open up the room and hang, or play wiffle ball or invite friends over for twister - totally kidding).
